Carrier is proud to present the 2008 President’s Award to Hentkowski, Inc. Through their professionalism and quality-driven approach to all aspects of their business, Hentkowski, Inc. has shown a commitment to growth of their own company as well as others.

John W. Hentkowski started Hentkowski, Inc. on January 1, 1968. He opened his first shop in the basement of an old church. Since 1968, the company has outgrown its facilities twice. Now located in Marshallton, their facilities now include office space, a sheet metal shop and a full-service warehouse. Their area of service has also grown from Wilmington to New Castle and Kent Counties as well as south eastern Pennsylvania and north eastern Maryland.

From the beginning in 1968 their goal has been to be “Your Key to Comfort.” They strive to bring their customers the best heating and cooling systems for their needs. What started as a one-room shop in the basement of an old church has grown into a full-service facility. Hentkowski’s provides service and installation for both residential and light commercial customers. Whether it’s a new installation or routine service, their factory-trained/NATE-certified technicians provide the expertise their customers depend on. They continue to strengthen their technicians’ knowledge through ongoing training programs offered by Carrier University, their Carrier Distributor and local trade organizations. At Hentkowski, Inc. they have a lot to be proud of.
